His Good Leadership
Mr. Rodrigo Roa Duterte
President of the Republic of the Philippines
Dear Mr. President,
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude. I'm Erin Phoebe Flandez, A grade 10 Student from Ilocos Sur National High School would like to send a letter for you.
I wrote this letter as a citizen of the Philippines. I support some of the projects you have made in our country. And I can say that you changed the Philippines in the first six months of your term.
The "War on Drugs" Policy. I really don't have any idea what's going on in our country because i thought you are the one who orders the riding in tandems to kill many drug pushers and users in our country. After reading some articles, news and blogs about the extra judicial killings, I knew that i was wrong. I never realized there are still many drug lords in our country and some of them are politicians.
And I know that until now ,the conflict in our country has not yet ended because of the problems about drugs. Our country is now very dangerous because we do not know what will happen to us. Many innocent people died just because of that policy. Many people hates you because you always say curse/saying bad words every time you say your thoughts about the issues in our country. But i think it's just your expression.
And lastly i would like to thank you sir. Thank you because we, citizens of the Philippines learned to be more disciplined. Hoping that you'll going to find the solution to all the problems that our country is facing now. Like Traffic and Pollution.Thank You Sir. Have a Nice Day.

Why do Filipinos Celebrate Independence Day?
"Independence Day" it is the day when a country garnered its freedom. June 12, a very important date in the Philippine history. It is really true that Philippines is a very beautiful country. A country that is surrounded by bodies of water, land formation and many tourist spots. For the fact that in Philippines, we have 7107 islands and heritage sights such as Calle Crisologo of Vigan, Puerto Prinsesa of Palawan, Rice Terraces of The Philippine Cordilleras and many more. And because of the beauty of our country many people want to own our country.
For over hundreds of years, our country has been colonized by many countries. Spain, Japan, those are the countries once who own our Nation. After a long time of being colonized, we garnered freedom and celebrate it on every 12th of June.
We Filipinos celebrate Independence Day to Show or to gave an Honor and respect to all those Filipino Heroes who sacrifices their lives just to be free by the hands of Spaniards. We Filipinos should always remember, If our ancestors didn't fight for our freedom, our country will be always the same just like before.
